Addysen has been walking here and there. Always on her terms...usually when no one is paying attention and just a fews steps at a time. On Easter she decided to start walking everywhere. She still reverts to crawling her and there, but she is definitely getting the hang of walking!!

Brayden is certainly all boy. Anything to get a laugh. He thought it was hiliarious to stick his mini scuba diver up his nose. It was even funnier when the scuba diver stayed in his nose without holding it. Yep. Boys will be boys.

We took this video awhile ago...it is the little things sometimes. I was just bouncing a ball to Addysen and making a crazy noise (anything to get a laugh, ya know?) and she thought it was the funniest thing.

Disclaimer: 1). Jim was behind the camera...sorry for the sudden movements. 2). Please excuse the mess in the background...oh and the screaming kid. HA! 3). I haven't figured out how to edit the length of our videos and this is a long one.

Addysen's Princess Party

We had family and friends over on Saturday to celebrate Addysen's first birthday. It was a princess party and all of the smaller kids that were able to make it were boys, but they didn't seem to mind all the pink. ; ) I think everyone had a lot of fun.

Addysen is 1 today! I am in shock that she is already 1...it certainly goes by fast, but it just seemed to go by so much faster with the second child. It is definitely bittersweet as we have been making the transition from bottles to cups, and figuring out how much we can add to our monthly budget as we move from formula to milk ; ). Progressing from baby to toddler stage is certainly filled with mixed emotions, but we are excited to see her take her first steps and hear her sweet voice as she learns to talk more. She has brought us so much joy and laughter. We are so proud of you, baby girl and we love you very, very, very much!

That's right! I'm adding to the newness and improvedness (not a word - I know) of our 2009 blog with our first video post. Here is Brayden and his rendition of Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. I think this is the shortest version of Frosty I've ever heard. He did a great job though for only being 3!

Little Miss Fix-It

I had this step ladder out to hang a picture and someone decided she needed to help me. Such a little dare-devil with absolutely NO fear.

p.s. I wasn't in the room the first time Addysen decided to climb on this. I had lost track of her and eventually found her after searching each room. Apparently she crawled into our room to play on her new "toy." Yikes!
